grace and elegance to introduce you to equestrian acrobatics. Thanks
to the Cadre Noir – a body of breakers and trainers – let these unique
spectacles of equestrian magic show you how man and horse can become
one ! Academic or sporting horse-riding, “airs above the ground” (sauts
d'école), trick riding – these shows will amaze you !

Day or night: get ready for some time travel!
Chariot-races at the Gallo-Roman stadium, a Viking raid on the
Fort de l'An Mil, fantastic cavalcades at the Bataille du Donjon…
Each show is hot on the heels of the last in this 40-hectare
landscaped park. At nightfall, Cinéscénie invites you to a giant
fresco where, on a 23-hectare stage (the biggest in the world),
1,000 actors traverse iron, fire and light to recount the Puy du
Fou saga. This show is unique in the world!

The
most prestigious endurance test in the world!
Every year 220,000 spectators make a beeline for the Bugatti
track, driven by a single passion: the roaring of the engines! In
this exceptional race, which is the longest in the world (13,650
km), the racing cars go by at more than 300 km per hour in finest
Hunadière tradition… 24 hours of motoring, of laps around the
track, of noise and high spirits. 100% adrenaline guaranteed! And,
as night falls, village events add to the magic of the racetrack.

The Vendée Globe
Sables-d'Olonne,

Every four years, the greatest sailors meet at Port Olona, Sables-d’Olonne,
for the start of the only single-handed non-stop round the world
race. Alone, the sailors travel from East to West via 3 Capes
(Good Hope, Leeuwin and Horn) before returning to a hero’s welcome
at Sables-d’Olonne! Three months at sea, for an adventure that
pushes its participants to defy both elements and weather!

discover (or rediscover), a composer through his/her work, played
by the best professional musicians, throughout an entire weekend.
The audiences drifts from concert to concert, trusting the
judgement of its own ears. The formula has been an outstanding
success, bringing together thousands of music-lovers, seasoned or
not. And, for several years now, La Folle Journée has also
travelled to the regions, as well as to… Bilbao and Tokyo !
